Update

At times new versions of a software become available, and you ask yourself: Should I load the update, or not? This question should be always answered with a clear Yes for holding up the protection of one's own data.

Preparation

Please note the following things for your update:

If you can not run the update successfully, please contact directly NEXT Farming Sales GmbH at +49 (0) 8561 / 30068-12!

Download the available update or put in your received update-CD / DVD. Afterwards close the running NEXT Farming AG Office program before starting the installation. Then start the update which runs the further steps for you.

With version 1.7.6.9. the Online-Update has been added. The green arrow (1) shows if a new update is available. This needs to be activated in menu Help | looking for Online-Updates | Check automatically (daily). Also, you can check manually if there is a new update available in with Help | looking for Online-Updates | Check now for updates. For visiting the download-page click Help | looking for Online-Updates | Visit download-page.

If you want, you can check manually if there is a new update available in with Help | looking for Online-Updates | Check now for updates. The following window will open up. Select the updates that you want to download (1) by setting the check marks and confirm with Start download (2).

  1. Here you can see which updates are available now.
  2. Clicken on Start download for downloading the selected updates.

Please note:

Beim Update Aktualisierung der Systemdaten handelt es sich vorwiegend um die monatliche Aktualisierung des Pflanzenschutzmittel-Katalogs, es können aber auch weitere Systemdaten mit aktualisiert werden.

  1. If the download has been completed successfully, you can start the installation by conforming with button the Installst.

If a module has been actualized, this report will show up:

When actualizing the system data, this window will show up. The import starts automatically.

After completing the import the program needs to be restarted.

Start update

You can start the update after downloading directly by button [Install], or go to the folder where your update has been saved.

Should the current version be newer than the update, please get an actual update. Otherwise, follow these detailed steps!

If NEXT Farming AG Office does not run satisfying after the update, you can reset this backup by using the program "acRestore".

Start the update with [Run]. This process can take a few minutes!

The update is complete and can be closed.
